Hasadin Sukkogi, interpreter for Thailand's senior national team, is learning to speak French to assist Erawan and currently communicates in four languages.
“Anfield,” Hasadin Sukkogi, son of "Coach Thong" Thongchai Sukkogi, former Thai national team goalkeeper and manager, began working as a translator and tactical communicator for Anthony Hudson in October 2025.
After Erawan Garnier, a Thai-French winger, was called up to the national team for upcoming friendlies, Anfield has served as his French interpreter, as Erawan cannot communicate in Thai or English.
Erawan explained his choice to play for Thailand, saying, “Thailand expresses who I am, and I want to show that Thailand has football talent. I expect strong competition within the team for top performance and aim to win both upcoming matches and future games.”
Anfield revealed he can communicate in four languages: Thai, English, Portuguese, and French. Although his French listening skills are not yet fluent, he can speak it after about two weeks of practice.
He began learning French to help Erawan build good relationships with teammates and understand tactics, adding that he enjoys learning multiple languages.
