Hasadin Sukkogee, interpreter for the Thai national team, revealed that Erawan Garnier is still adjusting to the weather conditions.
On 5 June 2026, after the Thai national team drew 2-2 with Kuwait in a FIFA Day friendly match at Pathum Thani Stadium,
Hasadin Sukkogee spoke with Erawan Garnier, the Thai-French footballer, who said that the weather posed a challenge due to its difference from France, but he was trying to adapt as quickly as possible.
Hasadin said, “From the first day of training until now, Erawan has mentioned that the weather in Thailand compared to France at the same time is quite different. The atmosphere in France is around 27-28 degrees Celsius, but in Thailand, it’s 35-36 degrees Celsius.”
“He feels stressed and thinks he’s not performing well. I told him it’s okay and that it takes time to adjust. We noticed when he had to sprint, the hot weather made it hard to breathe, so I advised him to take time to adapt. Personally, I will help him understand the coach’s tactics as much as possible.”
The next match is China vs. Thailand on 9 June 2026 at 18:35 (Thai time) at Jinhua Sports Center Stadium.
The match will be broadcast live on Thairath TV Channel 32, www.thairath.co.th/tv/live, Facebook pages: Thairath TV (www.facebook.com/ThairathTV) and Thairath Sport (www.facebook.com/ThairathSport), and YouTube: Thairath Sport.
