Hudson Speaks Out for the First Time After Thailand Draws 0-0 with China

Anthony Hudson, head coach of the Thailand national football team, spoke after the friendly football match against China held on FIFA Day.

In that match, Thailand and China ended in a 0-0 draw, concluding the FIFA Day friendly schedule for June.

Hudson said, "First of all, I want to thank the Chinese Football Association and the Chinese fans for their warm welcome. It was a good experience for us."

"Regarding tonight's game, we knew China had been continuously active in their league, which is very competitive up until this international break, unlike our situation where many players have not played for a while. Some hadn't played for 4-5 weeks. I'm proud of all the players for their courage, determination, and strength on display."

"I think this team is different now. Since then until now, the Chinese league has grown stronger, with more Chinese players getting playing time. I see China as a strong team that is steadily developing. They are on the right path."

After this, the Thailand national team will return immediately to Thailand, arriving at Don Mueang International Airport on 10 June 2026 at 21:20. The coaching staff will hold a meeting to prepare for the next competition, the ASEAN Hyundai Cup 2026, scheduled for July to August 2026.
