Hudson candidly discusses four points after Thailand's national team defeated Laos in their first ASEAN Cup 2026 match.
On 25 July 2026, Anthony Hudson, head coach of Thailand's national football team, gave an interview following the first group stage match of the ASEAN Cup 2026, Group B.
In this game, Thailand defeated Laos, who played with 10 men, by a score of 5-0, with two goals from Khakhana Kamyok and one each from Teerasil Pheepimai, Yosakorn Burapha, and Sarach Yooyen.
Anthony Hudson spoke about four points he was pleased with in this match as follows.
"I am satisfied with this match because we started the tournament with a victory and the team included several new players."
"Another positive aspect of this game is that no one was injured. Everyone followed the tactical plan. After this, we will return to Thailand immediately and work on restoring the players’ fitness for the next game."
