Kakhana reveals two factors for Thailand's national team to hope for a win against Malaysia in the ASEAN Cup 2026 match 2.
On 31 July 2026 at 16:30, at the press room of Rajamangala National Stadium, the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) held a press conference ahead of the ASEAN Cup 2026 group stage match 2, Group B, between Thailand, ranked 94th in the world, and Malaysia, ranked 136th.
The press conference was led by head coach Anthony Hudson along with Kakhana Kamyok, an attacking player on the team.
Kakhana Kamyok revealed the two factors that Thailand would beat Malaysia are the motivation from home fans and improved performance compared to the first away match against Laos.
Kakhana said, "I'm happy to play our first home game. Our expectation is to win for our fans. This game should be better than the first one (an away 5-0 win over Laos)."
"After adjustments and trials in the first game, senior players have given advice. This game we will do better and secure the win."
"I want to invite the fans. This is our first home game. We need to perform well to encourage many fans to come. Please support us. This is the first game at home, and we will do our best."
