After the game, Tan Cheng Hoe, Malaysia’s coach, expressed confidence that the Yellow Tigers would advance to the next round, noting that the young players gained valuable experience playing against Thailand.

"I think for these young players, I am glad they gained experience and the chance to face a strong team like Thailand. It will prepare them well for upcoming matches," he said.

"As a coach, I still have confidence in these young players if they continue to get opportunities and maintain good performance."
