The AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2027 qualifiers are approaching, set for 25 August – 6 September 2026. Thailand hosts Group F matches from 31 August to 6 September 2026.
The U20 Asian Cup qualifiers are divided into 8 groups of 4 nations each. The draw results are as follows.
Group A: South Korea, Kyrgyzstan (host), Philippines, LebanonGroup B: Uzbekistan (host), Syria, India, BangladeshGroup C: Iran, Vietnam (host), North Korea, PalestineGroup D: Jordan, Tajikistan, Bahrain (host), AfghanistanGroup E: Saudi Arabia, Qatar (host), Oman, Hong KongGroup F: Iraq, Thailand (host), UAE, TurkmenistanGroup G: Japan, Yemen, Cambodia (host), KuwaitGroup H: Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos (host)The group winners (8 teams) and the seven best runners-up will qualify for the AFC U20 Asian Cup™ China 2027 in early 2027, where four teams will earn spots for the 2027 U20 World Cup in Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan.Meanwhile, teams finishing last in their groups must compete in the Development Phase in the next qualifiers.Thailand's Group F matches will all be played at Chonburi Stadium.

The Thailand U20 team is coached by “Coach Bo” Chakraphan Panpi. Although the official squad has yet to be announced, key players likely include Danupol Bubpha from Muangthong United, Pitchaya Kongsri and Vision Inaram from True Bangkok United, and Natthakitt Pho Sri from Port FC.
