Ready to battle: "Hudson" reveals Thailand national team has a "new weapon" aiming to defeat Singapore in the 2026 ASEAN Cup semi-finals.
On 13 August 2026 at 13:45, at Suvarnabhumi International Airport, the Thailand men's national football team gathered to prepare for departure to Singapore to compete in the first leg of the 2026 ASEAN Football Championship semi-finals against Singapore on the same day.
Thailand finished as Group B champions and will face Singapore, the runner-up of Group A, in the semi-finals.
Before departure, Anthony Hudson, head coach of the Thailand national team, said, "We have been performing well throughout the week in training. We had plenty of time to prepare before this game. Tomorrow we will have the final training session before facing Singapore. We might add some minor details, but everything is currently in a good place."
"(Regarding the addition of Patrick Gustafsson) I would like to thank BG Pathum United club for their cooperation in allowing him to join the team for the semi-finals."
