It is understood that “Arm” Supachai Jaided respected Ray MacDonald deeply, seeing him as a benefactor and like family. Ray MacDonald once served as chairman of Santipap FC, the club where Supachai began, giving him opportunities and support to train and pursue a professional football career.
Although “Arm” Supachai Jaided became a famous footballer playing for the Thailand national team and a major club like Buriram United, his close bond with Ray MacDonald remained strong. He sought chances to meet him and even gave him a football jersey as a gift.
