Sarach Expresses His Thoughts After Thailand Misses Out on the 2026 ASEAN Cup Title

Sarach shares a heartfelt message after Thailand's national team missed out on the 2026 ASEAN Cup title.

"We did our best!" Sarach said proudly of every member of the Thailand national team despite missing the 2026 ASEAN Cup championship.

Following "War Elephants" Thailand's 2-2 away draw with "Golden Stars" Vietnam in the second leg of the 2026 ASEAN Cup final, Thailand lost 2-4 on aggregate, finishing as runners-up.

Recently, Sarach Yuyean, the Thailand national team captain and midfielder, posted a message thanking everyone, including his teammates, who all tried their best despite falling short of the championship goal.

Sarach stated, "Thank you to all my teammates and the coaching staff for the 45 days we spent together. We fought as a team and showed what each individual is capable of. Although we did not succeed in winning the title as we all hoped, everyone did their very best."

"Bank and Palm, I want to thank both of you. Even though you didn't get a chance to play during the entire tournament, please know that you are an important part of the team. In every training session, you gave your all, constantly pushing yourselves and encouraging everyone in the camp. Be proud of yourselves."

"Thank you to all Thai fans who have supported us throughout. Thank you for sharing the hardship with us. I am happy and proud to have played alongside all of you."

Going forward, the coaching staff will meet with the Football Association to review all plans and prepare for upcoming tournaments, including the FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026 in Indonesia, scheduled from 24 September to 5 October 2026.
