TIFAA has joined forces with TrueVisions to launch the TIFAA YOUTH LEAGUE 2026/27, fulfilling the dreams of more than 1,400 Thai youths aspiring to reach professional levels in football.
The Thai-International Football Academy Association (TIFAA) announced the official launch of the TIFAA YOUTH LEAGUE 2026/27 on Sunday, 6 September, at TC Footballclub Rama 9. This premium youth league gathers over 1,400 rising star players, both mixed-heritage and native Thai, from 102 leading academy teams.
The competition spans age groups from U7 to U19, featuring formats of 5-a-side, 7-a-side, and full 11-a-side matches. The league primarily targets students from international and bilingual schools in Bangkok and its vicinity, as TIFAA recognizes their language skills as a key asset to overcome major barriers that Thai players face when advancing internationally. Additionally, the league’s standards are raised by employing qualified referees, licensed coaches, and national-level sports psychologists to support and guide the young players.
Mr. Ong-art Prapakmon, Head of TrueVisions and Media at True Corporation Public Company Limited, the broadcast sponsor, said, “TrueVisions believes that every world-class player starts on a small field as a child. Supporting this league is not just about organizing matches; it’s about creating a platform where Thai youth can turn their inspiration from watching world-class football into real action.”
“Providing early exposure to a professional-like environment will serve as a strong motivation. It’s possible that in the future, we’ll see players from this league advance to foreign leagues and return for Thai fans to support through TrueVisions broadcasts.”
Mr. Ton Naranon, President of the Thai-International Football Academy Association, expressed his commitment to the competition: “The association is determined to elevate the standard of football academies in Thailand to international levels. The TIFAA YOUTH LEAGUE 2026/27 is a crucial platform that allows youths to showcase their potential, learn sportsmanship, and gain real match experience.”
The event also featured a group photo ceremony to reinforce collaboration among various stakeholders, including Mr. Ong-art Prapakmon, Head of TrueVisions and Media at True Corporation Public Company Limited; Mr. Ton Naranon, President of TIFAA; Mr. Kritikhon Thanmahamongkol, CEO of Think Curve; Ms. Sunitra Suthakorn, Domestic Marketing Director of Rama 9 Hospital; Ms. Ananya Tosangchai, TIFAA Board Member and Secretary; Mr. Pasakorn Nuntawat Siri, TIFAA Board Member; Mr. Nithipat Panichchaiwiwat, TIFAA Board Member; and representatives of youth players.
A special highlight of this season’s TIFAA Youth League, sure to delight youth football fans, is the live broadcast support from TrueVisions through the True Ball Thai 2 channel on the TrueVisions NOW app. This will help fulfill the children’s dreams by providing an experience akin to professional players. The official competition kickoff is set for 6 September and will continue thereafter.
