Coach Sakol is preparing to take the Puttirangsipiboon team into intensive training before pursuing success in the 7-Color Football competition – this squad is better than the Surasakmontree team when they won the championship.
On 10 September 2026, the 7-a-side student football competition, the 7HD Champion Cup 2026, scheduled from 22 October to 6 December 2026, is one of the 7-a-side tournaments attracting football fans' attention.
Last year, the final saw Chainat Provincial Administrative Organization defeat Mon Thong Wittaya to claim the championship, amid a crowd that overflowed Suphachalasai Stadium, driven by the 'Mon Thong Fever,' with Coach Sakol Kliangprasert leading the team.
This year, Coach Sakol is managing Puttirangsipiboon, which is also based in Chachoengsao Province like Mon Thong Wittaya. He recently provided an update on their readiness for the competition.
Coach Sakol live-streamed a conversation with fans, responding about the upcoming match: “I will finalize the squad and send the list to the secretary to complete all formalities. Although Puttirangsipiboon is not a seeded team, we are positioned at the forefront. Usually, number 1 is Chainat Provincial Administrative Organization, number 2 Mon Thong Wittaya, but now we are ahead of number 1 because of our recognition.”
“I ask the mothers to temporarily put aside the 7-Color team and give me all of October to handle things. This squad will train at a private, quiet location with a pool villa, swimming pool, weight training room, and warm-up matches against international touring teams. The more we lose, the more experience we gain.”
