Futsal game ends but debates continue! BG Pathum United fires coach Van Loop; what did the 'War Elephants' gain from facing Brunei? The 'Mome Effect' discussed in 'Clear the Sidelines' (Video).
On 19 Oct 2026 GMT+7, the futsal game ended but the debate did not! 'The Rabbit,' BG Pathum United, a renowned team in Thai League—or 'BYD SEALION 6 League'—fired coach Van Loop, while the 'War Elephants' faced the Brunei national team. What was gained? The topic of 'Mome' Thanatcha Suksod's effect was also discussed on the 'Clear the Sidelines' show, hosted by 'Je' Worapat Arunpakdee, with two famous football guests, 'Bubble' Yingrak Raksuwan and 'Nang Tong Krom' Jamnong Songkuay, sharing their views.
'Bubble' Yingrak Raksuwan said, 'Regarding Bahrain's withdrawal, I think the entire association is at fault, but I also wonder why they canceled so easily. It seems like child's play. Was there no contract clause about penalties for cancellation? I wish the association had stronger connections and influence to negotiate and secure matches at the international level.'
Meanwhile, 'Nang Tong Krom' Jamnong Songkuay stated, 'It's a pity we faced Brunei, which doesn't really test us. If we want to benefit from these two games, especially with the Asian Cup coming up, wouldn't it be better to face teams like Oman or Tajikistan?'
