Traill teams up with partners Ari-Mikasa-Alpine to launch the Japan Asia Football Tournament U14 No.2 from 23-25 October, selecting four players to train in Japan with Yokohama F. Marinos and Sanfrecce Hiroshima.
Mr. Robert Traill, Director of Traill International School and event chairman, together with Butroom Co., Ltd. (Ari), Mikasa Industries (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and Alpine Football Camp Training, held a press conference for the Japan Asia Football Tournament U14 No.2 taking place from 23-25 October 2026 at Alpine Football Camp Training in Bangkok.
Eight teams will compete: Yokohama F. Marinos, Sanfrecce Hiroshima, Buriram United Academy, Assumption Thonburi, Chonburi FC, Port FC, Suankularb Wittayalai School, and Traill FC.
Robert Traill, Director of Traill International School, said, “This year marks the school's 60th anniversary. It is an opportunity to reflect on what the school has always prioritized: helping each child develop themselves. This tournament is part of that mission. We want the celebration to be meaningful for youth by creating experiences they can build on—playing against Japanese teams, learning from each other, and the chance to train abroad. For us, the joy of the 60th year is seeing children gain confidence and a clearer vision of their future. We intend to continue creating opportunities like this.”
“This year is even more special, extending the tournament from two to three days and including both Japanese teams in the same group, allowing Thai children to compete against top Japanese teams. We believe future superstars will emerge from this.”
“Additionally, four youth players will be selected to train in Japan: two with Yokohama F. Marinos and two with Sanfrecce Hiroshima. This experience will help them develop their playing style and mindset, which is crucial.”
“I encourage all players to give their best, enjoy the competition, respect their opponents, and be open to learning. Don’t focus solely on being selected but play for the team and show your best self. To the parents, I invite you to come support the children. Family support is vital and helps them grow both as athletes and individuals.”
Follow the tournament and support all eight youth teams while watching to see which four players will earn the chance to train with leading clubs in Japan.
