Khon Kaen United Player Knocked Down by Opponents Elbow - Medical Team Performs CPR Condition Now Stable

A Khon Kaen United player was knocked down by an opponent's elbow and fell backward on the field—medical staff performed CPR. Initially, the referee did not stop the game. The player's condition is now reported as stable.

On 26 Oct 2026, during the 2026/27 Thai League 2 season, in a match where Khon Kaen United hosted and defeated Mueang Loei United 4-2, an incident drew attention beyond the gameplay. Vasusivikij Phusirit, defender and captain of Khon Kaen United, was struck by an opponent's elbow, losing consciousness. Team staff immediately performed CPR and rushed him to the hospital for urgent treatment.

Recently, Khon Kaen United's official page updated the condition of "Captain Max," stating the injury status of Vasusivikij Phusirit from the clash involving an elbow strike by a Mueang Loei United player during the match.

After the impact, he was transferred to Ratchaphruek Hospital, where medical staff conducted a detailed brain CT scan and X-rays of the bones.

Results showed the brain was in normal condition. No fractures or cracks were found in the jawbone, neck, or chest bones. He is now safe, fully conscious, and able to communicate normally. Doctors have advised rest and observation at the hospital.
