Is Coach Nuay outdated? How did Sisaket manage to defeat Buriram away? True Bangkok United has fired Coach Ban amid serious player injuries and referee concerns.
On 26 Oct 2026, the question arose: Is Coach Nuay Somchai Chuayboonchum outdated? How did Sisaket United manage to defeat Buriram United on their home ground? Meanwhile, True Bangkok United dismissed Coach Ban Thachathawan Sripan. Additionally, there are serious player injury and referee issues that deserve attention. You can listen to this analysis on the program 'Clear Rim Sen,' hosted by Worapat Arunphakdi with guests Yingrak Raksuwan, a well-known Thai football expert, and Coach Thongchai Sukkogi, head coach of Nakhon Pathom United, sharing their opinions.
Yingrak Raksuwan commented on True Bangkok United's decision to fire Coach Ban: "Regarding Coach Ban (Thachathawan Sripan) parting ways with True Bangkok United today, I actually thought it would wait until the season's end, which is typical for the team. They probably think that without results or titles, a coach can't stay. But I didn't expect it to happen mid-season like this. Looking at the performance, the earliest would be around the end of the first leg, but this seems too soon. We don't know the details of their discussions."
Meanwhile, Coach Thongchai Sukkogi of Nakhon Pathom commented on Buriram's home loss to Sisaket: "Before this match, they had to focus on the AFC Champions League midweek. I would say they underestimated Sisaket. But their assessment included players to adjust the situation; however, they couldn't turn it around and didn't expect to fall behind by two goals."
