The Thailand U23 national team continues training at Al Nassr; "Phakawat" says the team is tuning in better and better.
On 6 Jan 2026 at 17:30 Thailand time, at the Al Nassr club training ground, the Thailand U23 men's national football team conducted continuous training in Saudi Arabia to prepare for the final round of the AFC U23 Championship.
This training session focused on reviewing concepts and correcting errors in both defense and offense.
Before training, Phakawat Tangakorn, a defender from Buriram United, said, "The team is quite ready now because we have prepared well. Coach Wang has been working on tactics, and everyone is trying to adapt to each other. Personally, I’m also adjusting well to the weather here and will do my best. I hope Thai football fans will support us."
"The team’s adaptation is improving steadily. Many teammates have played together since U20, so I think adapting won’t be a big concern since many have worked together before, including some senior players. Things are getting better."
"For the first match against Australia, they are a strong team, but we have prepared well and will try to fight hard. Our goal, as the coach said, is to advance. Personally, I will give my all if given the chance. I ask Thai U23 fans to cheer for us; we will do our best."
