Thairath has signed a 4-year contract with the Football Association to broadcast live matches of the War Elephants, available exclusively on both TV and online platforms, launching the "Thairath Cheers Thailand NEW ERA" campaign.
Thairath TV announced a significant partnership with the Football Association of Thailand by signing a 4-year live broadcast contract for the Thai national football team from 2026 to 2029 under the "Thairath Cheers Thailand NEW ERA" campaign. Thai fans can watch all matches of the War Elephants in one place, both on Thairath TV Channel 32 and online platforms Thairath Sport on YouTube and Facebook.
The press conference was held on 11 March 2026 at the Thairath building. Watchara Watcharapol, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Thairath TV and Thairath Online, revealed that Thairath has over 11 years of experience broadcasting and presenting Thai football and continues to develop to offer the best viewing experience to Thai football fans.
“As a media outlet, we do not only focus on live match broadcasts but also emphasize content, news, and stories about Thai football in every aspect. Thairath is ready to utilize all platforms—TV, online, and social media—to promote Thai football to reach the widest possible fan base,” he said.
This 4-year live broadcast contract (2026–2029) covers competitions involving both the senior Thai national team and the under-23 team in major events, including FIFA Day matches, the 2030 World Cup qualifiers, international tournaments such as the King's Cup, and other important national team fixtures.
Meanwhile, Thairath is preparing to enhance the football viewing experience in this NEW ERA by overhauling its live broadcasts with the launch of a completely new studio featuring immersive graphics in Thairath's style, alongside modern game analysis technology to help fans understand tactics more deeply.
Additionally, there will be integrated cross-platform collaboration between TV and online, allowing fans to watch matches and follow Thai football content simultaneously across all channels.
Nualphan Lamsam, President of the Football Association of Thailand under Royal Patronage, said the cooperation with Thairath marks an important step in expanding the Thai national team's fan base.
“Thairath is a media outlet with strong capability and a genuine understanding of Thai football. This collaboration will help the national team reach a wider audience and revive enthusiasm for cheering on the Thai team,” she said.
In March, Thairath TV plans continuous live broadcasts of Thai national team football starting with the under-23 team tournament matches. The broadcast schedule is as follows:
• Wednesday, 25 March 2026: China vs. Thailand, broadcast from 18:05 to 20:45.
• Saturday, 28 March 2026: Thailand vs. Vietnam, broadcast from 13:30 to 16:10.
• Tuesday, 31 March 2026: North Korea vs. Thailand, broadcast from 13:30 to 16:10.
This will be followed by important matches of the senior Thai national team in the Asian Cup qualifiers.
• Thailand vs. Turkmenistan on Tuesday, 31 March 2026 at 19:00 at Rajamangala National Stadium.
Fans can watch the live broadcasts on Thairath TV Channel 32 and Thairath Sport on all platforms, joining together to cheer the War Elephants in a new era of supporting Thai football—"Thairath Cheers Thailand NEW ERA."
