Yotsakorn Boorapa, the talented striker of Chonburi FC, opened up after being called up to the Thailand senior national team for the first time in two years, ahead of the decisive Asian Cup 2027 qualifier against Turkmenistan.
On 13 Mar 2026 GMT+7, Yotsakorn Boorapa, the in-form forward, shared his thoughts after being named among the 23 players of the “War Elephants” Thailand national team under English coach Anthony Hudson for the crucial sixth qualifying match against Turkmenistan for the 2027 Asian Cup.
Previously, Yotsakorn Boorapa had delivered outstanding performances with Chonburi recently and earned a recall to the Thailand senior team for the first time in over two years, having last appeared in a FIFA Day friendly against Japan in January 2024.
Recently, Yotsakorn said, “It feels absolutely fantastic. I’m very happy to be included in the Thailand senior squad this time, especially for such an important match that will decide our qualification for the 2027 Asian Cup. I want to thank the coach for selecting me, and also thank Chonburi FC and everyone who has given me the chance to play regularly in recent times.”
“I always give my best in every game, including when playing in Singapore previously and representing the Thailand U-23 team. I believe whenever given the opportunity, we must give 100%.
