"Madam Pang" opened Golden Coffee at the Muang Thai-Phatra Building branch to expand its customer base in the office district, catering to urban workers.
Golden Place is a retail chain managed by Suwannachad Company Limited under royal patronage. It was established on 1 February 2001 following King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s royal initiative to create a model retail store for Thai people, selling products from royal projects as well as agricultural goods from Thai farmers. His Majesty King Vajiralongkorn has continued his father’s vision, committed to developing Golden Place to serve as the “people’s refrigerator.” Currently, there are 21 branches.
Golden Coffee, under the Golden Place brand, was developed starting in 2018 to continue and expand the agricultural products from royal initiatives and support hill tribe farmers growing coffee beans at high altitudes. The raw materials are used to create a variety of beverage menus suited to modern consumer lifestyles. Currently, Golden Coffee operates within 19 Golden Place outlets and has also launched two dedicated Golden Coffee stores, which are:
- Golden Coffee branch at The Old Siam Plaza shopping center
- Golden Coffee branch at Muang Thai-Phatra Complex building
Ms. Nuanphan Lamsam, director of Suwannachad Company Limited under royal patronage, said the Golden Coffee branch at Muang Thai-Phatra Complex began a trial service for the public, office workers, and working-age customers on 20 February 2026. The shop covers about 58 square meters and serves coffee and various beverages with unique flavors made mainly from royal project ingredients, such as coffee beans from royal projects, concentrated fruit juices, and honey from Doi Kham. The store also sells OTOP products from agricultural women's groups, traditional Thai desserts, bakery items, and ready-to-eat foods like salad rolls, fresh spring rolls, sandwiches, shrimp paste fried rice, and fresh fruit. Beyond royal project products, Golden Coffee carefully selects quality ingredients to develop the flavor of every drink to suit all customer groups while maintaining the distinctive “Golden Coffee” identity.
Golden Coffee’s highlight is its Arabica coffee beans processed by the washed method and carefully roasted to achieve a fragrant, smooth aroma while preserving a distinct fruity acidity. The brand continuously develops new menus by blending local ingredients unique to each branch. This approach is expected to appeal strongly to consumers, office workers, and younger generations.
The Golden Coffee branch at Muang Thai-Phatra Complex is open Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 19:00 and on Saturdays from 09:00 to 15:00. For more information, visit www.goldenplace.co.th, Facebook: Golden Place, and Instagram: Goldenplace.official.
