
Yotsakorn has made his first statement after withdrawing from the Thailand national team ahead of the decisive 2027 Asian Cup qualifier.
On 25 Mar 2026 GMT+7, Yotsakorn Burapha, a 20-year-old rising striker for the Thailand national team, posted on his personal Instagram after unfortunately having to withdraw from the team before the crucial final group D qualifier against Turkmenistan in the 2027 Asian Cup.
Yotsakorn Burapha sustained an injury during training with the Thailand national team. The team doctors assessed his condition and treatment timeline and concluded he might not recover in time for the match against Turkmenistan.
Meanwhile, Anthony Hudson held a meeting with the coaching staff and decided to call up 37-year-old striker Teerasil Dangda from True Bangkok United as a replacement. Teerasil will join the team’s training immediately today.
Recently, Yotsakorn Burapha posted a photo showing his knee taped over the injured area, along with a brief message to Thailand national team fans saying, “See you again soon. I will come back stronger. Thank you.”
