Bad news for the Thailand U23 national team as they face recent setbacks before their match against Vietnam in the four-nation tournament in China.
On 26 Mar 2026 GMT+7, the Chang Suek Facebook page - the official page of the Thailand national football team - reported the latest update on the Thailand U23 team, which recently completed their match against China U23 with a 2-2 draw in the opening game of the CFA Team China International Youth Tournament Xi'an last Wednesday.
The Thailand U23 team faced bad news when Vision Inaram, a Thai-Nigerian defender from True Bangkok United who started in the first eleven in the draw against China, had to be substituted early in the second half due to a knee injury.
Recent reports indicate that Vision Inaram suffered an injury to the right knee ligament following a clash with a Chinese player, requiring a recovery period of approximately 3 to 7 days.
As a result, it is expected that Vision Inaram will likely miss the remaining two matches of the CFA Team China International Youth Tournament Xi'an in China.
