Kritsan Payung analyzes the Thailand U23 national team before facing North Korea U23 in the CFA Team China International Youth Tournament Xi'an, Match 3.
On 28 Mar 2026, "Tu" Kritsan Payung analyzed the "War Elephants," Thailand's U23 national team led by Coach Thawatchai Damrong-Ongtrakul, ahead of their match against North Korea's U23 team in the CFA Team China International Youth Tournament Xi'an, Match 3, held in China.
Recently, "Tu" Kritsan Payung said in a Thairath Sport live broadcast called Thairath Cheer Thailand that in the game against North Korea, they will play similarly to the match against China, focusing on counterattacks. Therefore, the team will emphasize defense more. For example, in the game against China, they used three center-backs at times and six defenders at others; it will be similar this time.
"The physical strength of the opponent, North Korea’s national team, looks superior. However, we will have to see. I believe Coach Thawatchai will study today’s game between North Korea and China to decide which strategy to use in order to achieve a good result, at least a draw."
