Madam Pang Reveals Hudsons Future with Two Big Surprises After Thailand National Team Qualifies for Asian Cup 2027

"Madam Pang" has revealed the future of "Hudson" with two big surprises after the Thailand national team qualified for the 2027 Asian Cup.

On 1 April 2026, Madam Pang Nualphan Lamsam, President of the Football Association of Thailand, spoke to the media after the Thailand national team successfully qualified for the final round of the 2027 Asian Cup.

The Thailand national team hosted Turkmenistan at Rajamangala Stadium, narrowly winning 2-1 to reach 15 points, overtaking the group D lead in the third round of the 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers, and becoming one of the 24 countries to compete in the final tournament in Saudi Arabia.

Recently, Madam Pang Nualphan Lamsam revealed that the Football Association's executive committee will reconsider the contract of Anthony Hudson, head coach of the Thailand national team, who initially took the role with the short-term goal of leading the team to the 2027 Asian Cup final round.

Madam Pang said that Anthony Hudson is confident about leading Thailand to beat Turkmenistan and has already prepared a long-term plan for the 2027 Asian Cup final. The Football Association will discuss and analyze what further long-term plans there might be.

The President of the Football Association of Thailand also disclosed that a high FIFA-ranked nation has expressed interest in arranging a friendly match with Thailand, but she declined to reveal details for now and promised to share good news with the media later.

Additionally, Madam Pang hinted at bringing in mixed-heritage players to strengthen the Thailand national team, emphasizing, "Certainly, there will be a big surprise. Please look forward to it—a definite big surprise." She asked fans to stay tuned for how many players will be involved.
