Recently, reports revealed that Adrian Siam Skogmar, a player from Malmo, a top Swedish league club, has accepted to join the "War Elephants" for the upcoming FIFA Day in June.
So who exactly is he?
Adrian Siam Skogmar was born on 23 November 2005. He is a Thai-Swedish footballer playing as a midfielder for Malmo in Sweden's top league. He is currently 20 years old, born in Sweden to a Swedish father and a Thai mother.
His path to a professional football career
Skogmar has been with Malmo since 2011, progressing through their youth system before making the senior team in 2023. He made his first-team debut on 1 July that year as a substitute in the 85th minute against Sirius. On 24 February 2024, he scored his first professional goal in Malmo's 8-0 victory over IFK Lulea.
Statistics and achievements
In the 2025 season, Skogmar played 34 matches across all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist. At just 20, he is regarded as one of the most promising young talents.
International career
Skogmar has represented Sweden at the U17 level in 2021, U19 between 2023-2024, and currently plays for the U21 team. In the upcoming FIFA Day, he may be included among the 23 players for Thailand's senior team for the 2026 ASEAN Cup.
