On 7 Aug 2026 at 14:00 at the press conference room of Rajamangala National Stadium, the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) held a press briefing ahead of the ASEAN Cup 2026 group stage match 4, Group B, between Thailand, ranked 94th in the world, and Myanmar, ranked 158th.
Anthony Hudson, head coach of Thailand’s national team, discussed five points before the match against Myanmar. Thailand currently has 9 points and needs at least 1 more point to secure a semifinal spot. Malaysia and Myanmar each have 6 points. The tournament uses head-to-head results as a tiebreaker.
