Following the "War Elephants", Thailand's national team, drawing 2-2 away against the "Golden Stars", Vietnam's national team, in the second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2026 final,
but with a two-leg aggregate of 2-4, Thailand lost to Vietnam, who claimed the ASEAN Cup 2026 championship for the fourth time, while Thailand finished as runners-up.
Recently, "Madame Pang" Nualphan Lamsam, president of the Football Association of Thailand, posted a message on Facebook expressing gratitude to all parties involved.
"Thank you to every player, thank you to every club, and thank you to every fan for your cheers and support."
