"Chakraphan Panpi" shared his thoughts after Thailand's 1-0 victory over the United Arab Emirates in the 2027 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers Group Stage, Group F, Match 1.
On 31 Aug 2026 GMT+7, "Coach Bo" Chakraphan Panpi spoke after the match where the Thailand U20 football team defeated the UAE U20 team 1-0, thanks to a winning goal scored by Siwakorn Pholsan in the 45+2 minute of first-half injury time, during the 2027 AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers Group F opener.
"Coach Bo" Chakraphan Panpi said, "This was our first game, so it was a bit tense. I'm glad the players performed well, following what we've practiced. However, some moments were imperfect, possibly due to the rainy conditions, which made ball control challenging. I want to commend the players and thank the fans who came to support and encourage them."
"This was a good game that boosted the players' confidence, showing we are on the right path by winning in our style of play. Areas to improve include passing and creating chances in the final third. We need to focus on these again. The pressure on the field may have caused some mistakes, but everyone tried to play forward, which is positive. Lastly, I invite more fans to come support the players at the stadium. We want everyone to be a strong encouragement for the team."
The "War Elephants" Thailand U20 team will play their second match in the 2027 AFC U20 Asian Cup Qualifiers against Turkmenistan U20 on 3 September 2026 at 19:30 GMT+7 at Chonburi Stadium.
