Ready to fight: Yotsakorn points out two key areas the Thailand national team must focus on to aim for victory over China in the 2026 Asian Games quarterfinals.
On 25 September 2026 at 1:30 PM Thai time, at Itsutsugaoka Sports Square in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, the Thailand men's national football team for the Asian Games held a training session to prepare for the 2026 Asian Games quarterfinal match against China.
Thailand qualified as runners-up of Group A with 6 points from 3 matches and will face China, the Group B winners with 5 points. This training session focused on detailed preparations to be fully ready for the upcoming game.
Before training, Yotsakorn Burapha, Thailand's national team forward, said, "My body is very ready now. I’m eager to play. I’m prepared to play in any position the coach assigns and will do my best wherever Coach Wang places me."
"Our goal is to be fully prepared to compete against China. We all want to reach the semifinals and will strive to secure a win. From what I’ve seen, all my teammates are doing well. I hope to support both my teammates and coaches as much as I can to help the team perform strongly."
"(Two things the Thailand team must focus on) Obviously, we need to improve our defense. We also must support each other more across all positions. I’d like to ask Thai fans in Japan to cheer for us, as well as those in Thailand, to encourage us so we can win tomorrow’s match."
