Confident Supachai reveals two key factors for Thailand's national team to win against Indonesia in the FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026 final.
On 4 October 2026 at 16:00, at Madya Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia, Thailand's national team conducted a training session to prepare for their upcoming final against Indonesia in the FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026.
During this training, Mr. Praphan Disyathat, the Ambassador to Jakarta, welcomed the Thai football team and coaching staff, toured the training session, and offered encouragement to the athletes ahead of the final match against Indonesia.
The training focused on tactical preparations and game details, lasting one hour.
Supachai Jaided, the Thailand national team striker from Buriram United, said everyone shares the same goal of winning the championship.
“Of course, I want to be a champion, and everyone on the team wants to win the title. Thailand will play to become champions.”
“We want to win every match we play to be the best team in this tournament. The important thing is how we play to reach our goal, and we are close to that goal now. But we all have to work hard before that day arrives.”
The Thailand players also mentioned the team's strength lies in unity and playing for the team, which has been key to advancing through previous rounds.
“Our strength is the team. We are still united no matter what situation we face on the field. Everyone plays for the team, and we have shown that in previous rounds. It may not be perfect, but we have made it to the final.”
“In our team, whoever plays, everyone supports each other, both those on the field and those off it. We are all involved in the game all the time. Whether someone plays or not, everyone helps.”
Regarding the final against Indonesia, he sees it as an interesting match because both teams have quality players and believes it will be an exciting contest.
“Indonesia has strong, quality players, and so does our team. I think the game will be fun. We know how to handle Indonesia’s players. As I said, everyone has quality, and if they underestimate us, our team can punish Indonesia as well.”
