Theerathon Bunmathan thanks Buriram United for his contract extension; 'Pa Tai' jokes, "Don't be stubborn."
On 29 Jan 2026 GMT+7, Buriram United, a giant in the Thai League, announced they have reached an agreement to extend the contract of experienced 35-year-old left-back “Aum” Theerathon Bunmathan by one more year, keeping him with the team until 2027.
Theerathonposted his thanks to “Newin and Karuna Chidchob,” pledging to dedicate himself fully to his role, saying, “New contract until 2027. Thank you very much, Father Newin and Mother Tai. I will give my all and perform my duties to the best of my ability as I always have.”
Meanwhile, “Pa Tai” Karuna Chidchob, the club’s vice president, commented with affectionate teasing, advising him to take good care of his health and not be stubborn, so he can get another contract extension in 2028.
