Buriram United Rout Cebu 6-0 to Advance to SHOPEE CUP Semifinals

Buriram United delivered a resounding 6-0 thrashing of Cebu to advance to the SHOPEE CUP semifinals.

In the ASEAN club championship SHOPEE CUP 2025/26 Group A match on Wednesday, 4 February 2026, defending champions Buriram United hosted Dynamic Herb Cebu FC, a prominent team from the Philippines.

At the 12th minute, Emmanuel Toku dribbled past the Dynamic Herb Cebu defense before passing to Peter Zulj, who took a close-range shot with his left foot, but the ball narrowly missed the target.

GOAL! In the 18th minute, Buriram United opened the scoring from a cross by Kingsley Schindler, with Sandy Walsh making a beautiful header into the net—his first goal for the Buriram team.

At the 26th minute, Kingsley Schindler ran past the Dynamic Herb Cebu defense along the right flank and crossed into the box, where Emmanuel Toku had a chance to head the ball close-range, but his header went over the crossbar.

In the 28th minute, Guilherme Bissoli volleyed with his left foot following a defensive error by Dynamic Herb Cebu, but Buriram’s goalkeeper Rami Jeridi made a superb save to block the shot.

GOAL! At the 31st minute, Buriram United doubled their lead to 2-0. The team captain and midfielder Goran Kašić capitalized on a defensive mistake from Dynamic Herb Cebu to score a beautiful left-footed goal from a cross by Theerathon Bunmathan.

GOAL! In the 34th minute, the scoreline extended to 3-0 as Kingsley Schindler scored his first goal for Buriram United, receiving a pass from Theerathon Bunmathan.

GOAL! At the 38th minute, Buriram United increased their lead to 4-0 with a goal from Pitiwat Sukjitthammakul, marking his first goal of the 2025/26 season with the club.

After that, neither side could add to the score. The first half ended with Buriram United leading 4-0 over Dynamic Herb Cebu.

Starting the second half, GOAL! In the 64th minute, Buriram United extended the lead to 5-0 as Peter Zulj crossed into the box, and 18-year-old Natthakorn Rattanasuwan headed the ball into the net.

At the 86th minute, substitute Suphanat Mueanta evaded Thomas Ramos and took a left-footed shot from just outside the penalty area, but the shot missed the target.

At the 89th minute, Pitiwat Sukjitthammakul delivered a cross from the right wing into the center, where Rattanakorn Maikami jumped to head, but the ball narrowly missed the goal.

GOAL! In the 90+2 minute, Buriram United scored again before the final whistle. Peter Zulj passed to Suphanat Mueanta, who calmly dribbled and shot the ball into the net, making the score 6-0 against Dynamic Herb Cebu.

Neither team managed to score further as the match ended. Buriram United hosted Dynamic Herb Cebu FC at Buriram Stadium and won 6-0, advancing to the semifinals.
