Jonathan Khemdee Makes First Move After Being Linked to Transfer from Ratchaburi Club

Jonathan Khemdee makes his first public response after being linked to rumors of moving to a club bigger than Ratchaburi.

On 10 February 2026, Jonathan Khemdee, the Thai-Danish national team defender from Ratchaburi FC, second in Thai League 1, made his first public move after being linked to a mysterious issue from a post by club president Fluke Thanawat Nitikanjana.

Fluke Thanawat Nitikanjana posted on 8 February, "The box is closed... Today’s only suspense is the election results, haha."

"No one is bigger than the club!!! But the only one bigger than the club president is the president’s mother. Let’s see if Boonying’s mother will return as the representative of Ratchaburi District 2."

"As for the other matter, please stay calm. Everything is now with the legal team. Updates will come for sure."

This led Thai football fans to various interpretations, with some speculating it might be Jonathan Khemdee, the Thai-Danish defender who has been absent from the team for some time and has been rumored to be transferring to a bigger club.

However, recently Fluke Thanawat Nitikanjana clarified on the "Clear Rim Sen" show on Thairath Sport that the player mentioned in the post was Saeid Neday, a defender who just joined in the second leg but was dropped from the team due to unprofessional behavior by club standards.

Meanwhile, Fluke confirmed that Jonathan Khemdee remains professional by club standards, continues training with teammates normally, and is likely to return to play in the AFC Champions League 2 Round of 16 first leg at home against Persib Bandung from Indonesia on Wednesday, 11 February.

Jonathan Khemdee last played for Ratchaburi FC in Thai League 1 in the home loss 1-2 to Singha Chiang Rai United on 24 December but has not returned to help the "Mangkorn Kings" since the start of 2026.

Most recently, Jonathan Khemdee made his first public move by posting on his personal social media amid the rumors, writing a brief caption to fans: "See you Wednesday," suggesting he is ready to return to play for Ratchaburi FC in the match against Persib Bandung.
