FIFA has sent an official letter congratulating Buriram United on winning the 2025-26 Thai League title.
On 23 Apr 2026 GMT+7, Gianni Infantino, President of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), sent a letter to "The Thunder Castle" Buriram United to congratulate them on officially winning the 2025/26 Thai League championship, marking the club's 11th league title despite having three matches left to play.
Gianni Infantino, FIFA President, also sent a letter to the Football Association of Thailand to extend his congratulations to Buriram United as follows:
"Congratulations to Buriram United Football Club. With this letter, I am pleased to congratulate you on becoming the latest champions of Thailand, Buriram United!"
"Your continuous effort and determination throughout the season have resulted in securing this important championship. Congratulations to every member of the team and the club on this great achievement."
"Meanwhile, I would like to thank the President and the Football Association of Thailand for their ongoing support, dedication, and work in developing football in the country. I look forward to meeting again soon."
