Prize Money for Champion and Runner-up of Thai League BYD Sealion6 League 1 Season 2025-26

Prize money for the champion and runner-up of the Thai League, also known as BYD Sealion6 League 1, for the 2025-26 season that has just concluded.


On 10 May 2026 GMT+7, following Buriram United, nicknamed the "Thunder Castle," led by English coach Mark Jackson, winning the BYD Sealion6 League 1 2025-26 season and securing the right to participate in the AFC Champions League Elite league stage for the 2026-27 season.

The champion team this season, Buriram United, had already secured a points lead over the second-place team before the season ended, receiving prize money of 10,000,000 baht and qualification for the AFC Champions League Elite league stage 2026-27. The trophy presentation was led by "Madam Pang" Nualphan Lamsam, president of the Football Association of Thailand, along with other sponsors.

Meanwhile, the team finishing second was Port FC, nicknamed the "Port Lions," who received 3,000,000 baht in prize money along with qualification for the AFC Champions League Elite league stage 2026-27.

The third-place team was Ratchaburi FC, known as the "Dragon Kings," awarded 1,500,000 baht and a spot in the AFC Champions League Two group stage for the 2026-27 season.

The prize money distribution for the BYD Sealion6 League 1 2025-26 season is as follows:

1st place: Buriram United, champions, 10,000,000 baht.

2nd place: Port FC, 3,000,000 baht.

3rd place: Ratchaburi FC, 1,500,000 baht.

4th place: BG Pathum United, 800,000 baht.

5th place: True Bangkok United, 700,000 baht.

6th place: PT Prachuap FC, 600,000 baht.

7th place: Chiang Rai United, 500,000 baht.

8th place: Chonburi FC, 400,000 baht.

The teams relegated to the BYD SEAL 5 LEAGUE 2 for the 2026-27 season are Muangthong United (the "Kilen Phayong"), Nakhon Ratchasima Mazda FC (the "Swat Cat"), and Phangkan FC (the "Iron Horses").
