Jude Bell reveals why he chose to move from the English league to join Port FC and shares his goals going forward after training.
On 31 Jul 2026 GMT+7, Jude Suntharapabell, a 22-year-old Thai-English forward, explained why he chose to leave the English league to join Port FC, known as the "Singha Chao Tha," in the Thai League. He also shared his goals after training at Pat Stadium earlier this evening.
Jude Suntharapabell underwent a medical examination upon arriving in Thailand on 30 Jul 2026 GMT+7. The results showed no issues; doctors confirmed everything is in excellent condition. He has never undergone surgery or suffered serious injuries and now only needs to improve fitness for competition.
“I’m very excited about this opportunity, especially the chance to play in front of Port FC fans. Meanwhile, I will train here in Thailand to get fully ready before practicing with my teammates. I want to send my support to my teammates in Indonesia. I believe in this team's potential, which is why I decided to come here. Again, I want to thank the club president, Pothipong Lamsam, and Madam Pang (Nualphan Lamsam), the former club president, who have helped me in everything since my time with the Thailand national team,” the Thai national team forward concluded.
Currently, Port FC is competing in the 2026 Piala Presiden Cup in Indonesia. Jude Bell will train with the coaching staff in Thailand under the club’s training program and will join his teammates later.
