Wayne Rooney, the former renowned striker, revealed one nation that has the chance to win the 2026 World Cup.
Wayne Rooney, former Manchester United forward, believes that Thomas Tuchel's championship experience will make a difference and give the "Three Lions," England's national team, a chance to win the 2026 World Cup.
Tuchel took over as England's head coach last year, replacing Gareth Southgate, who had led England to two European Championship finals and to the semi-finals and quarter-finals in the 2018 and 2022 World Cups respectively.
In the first few months under the German coach, England qualified for the World Cup without conceding any goals in the qualifiers, becoming the first European team to secure qualification. Rooney feels Tuchel is the most suitable manager to lead England to success.
"In recent years, they have performed very well in various competitions but have yet to reach their goal. Now Thomas Tuchel has come in and he is doing a really great job."
