Lisa Set to Make History as First Thai Artist to Sing at FIFA World Cup 2026

"Lisa" is set to make history as the first Thai artist to participate in singing at the FIFA World Cup 2026.

On 1 April 2026, a wave of excitement swept social media worldwide following rumors that Lisa Manoban, the globally influential Thai artist, might be selected as one of the official singers for the FIFA World Cup 2026 theme song.

The excitement began when music industry experts discovered new song registration data in the ASCAP system (the U.S. music copyright organization) for a track titled "Goals," which listed the artist name. LISA. Alongside leading artists such as Anitta (Brazil), Rema (Nigeria), and the producer group Tropkillaz.

In the songwriter credits, FIFA’s name clearly appears, which traditionally indicates an official World Cup project song.

If the rumors prove true, it would mark a proud milestone for Thailand, as Lisa would become the first Thai artist in history to contribute to the soundtrack of the world’s biggest sporting event, following in the footsteps of legendary artists like Shakira, Ricky Martin, and Pitbull.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be grandly hosted by three countries: the United States, Canada, and Mexico. FIFA plans to release an official soundtrack album showcasing a diversity of musical cultures from around the world. Earlier, the song "Lighter" was released in March.

Previously, Lisa made headlines when she traveled to support the Thailand national football team during the 2026 World Cup Asian qualifiers match against South Korea at Rajamangala Stadium in March 2024.

However, official announcements from Lisa’s agency LLOUD and FIFA are still pending. Worldwide fans remain confident that with her talent and global fanbase spanning every continent, "Lisa" is the perfect choice to bring energy and excitement to this World Cup.
