Lionel Scaloni, Argentina's national team coach, has officially announced the 26-player roster for the 2026 World Cup taking place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The squad is led by captain and forward Lionel Messi, who will be competing in his sixth World Cup.
Other star players complete the lineup, including Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea, Lisandro Martinez from Manchester United, Alexis Mac Allister from Liverpool, goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa, and Julian Alvarez from Atletico Madrid.
In the 2026 World Cup, Argentina is placed in Group J, scheduled to face Algeria on 16 June 2026, Austria on 22 June, and Jordan on 27 June, respectively.
