Will We Get to Watch? Bor.Boo Reveals Latest Update on Thailand Purchasing 2026 World Cup Broadcast Rights

Will we get to watch? "Bor.Boo" reveals the latest update on Thailand purchasing the 2026 World Cup broadcast rights.

On 9 June 2026 GMT+7, the Facebook page Bor.Boo, run by "Bor.Boo Buranit Rattanawichian," a well-known Premier League commentator on Monomax Sports, shared the latest developments regarding JAS, which is reportedly negotiating with FIFA to acquire the 2026 World Cup broadcast rights.

The Bor.Boo page stated, "The 2026 World Cup broadcast rights in Thailand are not 100% secured yet, but it probably won’t be a problem. We'll wait for confirmation again tonight!!!"

"From initial talks with a certain person, if secured, JAS will cater to Thai viewers without charging extra packages (meaning current subscribers won’t need to pay more) and will also allocate half of the live broadcasts to free TV, including the final match!!!"

Currently, Thailand remains the only country among 11 ASEAN nations yet to officially secure the 2026 World Cup broadcast rights. Updates will continue as the tournament approaches, scheduled from 11 June to 19 July.
