Liverpool Pursues World Cup Rising Star with a €70 Million Bid

Liverpool is serious about signing the rising star of the 2026 World Cup. The player's club is prepared to sell for €70 million.

Fabrizio Romano, the renowned Italian journalist, reported that Liverpool, the Premier League giant, has approached Ayoub Bouadi, the Moroccan national team midfielder from Lille in France's Ligue 1, to join Anfield this summer.

Bouadi, aged 18, delivered an outstanding performance in Morocco's 1-1 draw against Brazil in the opening match of the 2026 World Cup Group C. Despite his young age, he played 30 matches for Lille last season and was instrumental in securing their UEFA Champions League qualification.

The latest reports indicate Liverpool is serious about acquiring Bouadi and has already negotiated with his representatives. However, the deal faces stiff competition from Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal, who are also closely monitoring the player.

Lille is willing to consider selling Bouadi if they receive an offer of at least €70 million. His intelligent positioning and tackling skills would be a valuable addition to Liverpool's midfield.

If Bouadi does join Liverpool, it could create uncertainty around the futures of Alexis Mac Allister and Curtis Jones, both of whom have two years remaining on their contracts and have been linked with transfers away from the club.
