Ronaldo Makes Historic Milestone at 2026 World Cup

Cristiano Ronaldo made a historic milestone at the 2026 World Cup after leading the Portugal national team to a win over Uzbekistan last night.

Following Portugal's 5-0 victory over Uzbekistan in the 2026 World Cup Group K matchday 2,

Ronaldo delivered an outstanding performance, scoring two goals and becoming the first player to score in six consecutive World Cups: 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018, 2022, and 2026. This brought his total World Cup finals goals to 10.

Additionally, at 41 years and 139 days old, Ronaldo became the second oldest player to score in a World Cup, behind only Cameroonian legend Roger Milla, who scored at 42 years and 39 days during the 1994 World Cup.

Importantly, Ronaldo has now scored 975 career goals, moving closer to his target of 1,000 career goals.

Details of Ronaldo's goals in each World Cup are as follows:

2006 World Cup (Germany): 1 goal (against Iran)

2010 World Cup (South Africa): 1 goal (against North Korea)

2014 World Cup (Brazil): 1 goal (against Ghana)

2018 World Cup (Russia): 4 goals (hat-trick against Spain and 1 goal against Morocco)

2022 World Cup (Qatar): 1 goal (against Ghana)

2026 World Cup: 2 goals so far (against Uzbekistan)
