Night Owls Rejoice: Ratchaburi FC Announces Policy to Restore Happiness for Players and Staff During 2026 World Cup

Night owls rejoice: Ratchaburi FC announces a policy to restore happiness for players and staff during the 2026 World Cup.

On 8 July 2026, Ratchaburi FC, a prominent team in Thai League 1, announced a policy to bring happiness back to its players and coaching staff during the intense 2026 World Cup, jointly hosted by the United States, Mexico, and Canada.

Most 2026 World Cup matches will take place late at night and in the early morning hours Thailand time, continuing until 19 July and into the early morning of 20 July.

Recognizing this, Ratchaburi FC planned to adjust its training schedule to accommodate the World Cup festival, as most players and staff want to watch key late-night matches, given the tournament occurs only once every four years.

Recently, Ratchaburi FC announced: "Notice* to all athletes and staff of Ratchaburi FC regarding the cancellation of morning training sessions on any day with World Cup matches, without exception."

"The club acknowledges the excitement and enjoyment of this World Cup and considers the importance of fully appreciating the matches and cheering. Therefore, we support everyone watching the games happily without worrying about morning training."

This is for your information.

Thanawat Nitikarnjana, Chairman, Ratchaburi FC.
