FIFA is preparing to sell turf from "MetLife Stadium," the venue that will host the 2026 World Cup final.
The turf FIFA plans to sell is square-shaped, measuring 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 inches, offered at three price points: $450, $900, and $1,200. Each price category is limited to no more than 2,026 pieces. However, it has not been specified how the turf differs among these price levels.
Additionally, FIFA is offering a special turf piece priced at $3,000, sized 3 x 3 x 3 inches, which includes a gold-engraved metal card, a miniature football from the final match, and a glass World Cup trophy.
FIFA’s website states, "You can own a piece of football history with a carefully preserved piece of 2026 World Cup final turf, housed in a high-quality acrylic box and accompanied by a commemorative USB flash drive. Each piece contains turf from the final match field—an unparalleled symbol celebrating one of the world’s greatest sporting events."
Previously, FIFA sold turf after the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final between Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain. The World Cup final turf pieces will be shipped after the final match, with deliveries limited to recipients in the United States and Europe.
