Maguire is currently not a first-choice player in the "Three Lions" squad managed by German coach Thomas Tuchel, who openly addressed this matter.

Sam Allardyce, who took charge of the "Three Lions" England national team after being appointed in July 2016, managed only one match—a 1-0 victory over Slovakia—before being dismissed after just 67 days due to revelations of inappropriate behavior.

Recently, Sam Allardyce commented on Harry Maguire, who was brought on as a substitute in the 83rd minute replacing Ezri Konsa, saying, "I think it's quite harsh. He (Harry Maguire) previously faced difficulties at Manchester United. He was disparaged by some individuals there and was stripped of the captain's armband but managed to come back before losing his starting spot in the England team. If I were him, I would reflect on certain things, even though he says Thomas Tuchel's comments are not a problem. I wonder if he's just too good a person."

Maguire has played 66 matches for the "Three Lions" England national team, scoring 7 goals and providing 2 assists since his international debut under manager Sir Gareth Southgate in 2017.
