FIFA has revealed the all-time record number of fans who attended the 2026 World Cup matches from the opening game through to the final.
On 20 Jul 2026 GMT+7, FIFA announced the record-breaking attendance figures for the world's biggest football event, the 2026 World Cup, held across three host countries: the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Previously, FIFA disclosed that a total of 6,527,410 fans had attended matches from the opening game through to the quarterfinals, a number more than double the combined attendance of the previous two tournaments.
Most recently, FIFA revealed that total attendance for the entire 2026 World Cup tournament reached 6,810,966 fans, marking the highest overall attendance in the history of the World Cup.
