Alexis Mac Allister, midfielder for the Argentina national team and Liverpool FC, posted his first reaction after Argentina's heartbreaking 0-1 loss to Spain in the 2026 World Cup final.
"We were so close to winning the championship... that's why it hurts so much. But no one can take away everything we experienced in this World Cup. What the fans made us feel was incredible. We suffered and faced many obstacles, but we overcame them together. Never forget this: when we are united, we are stronger than anyone."
