Thailand Post and Thairath awarded a grand gold prize worth 7 million baht along with total prizes exceeding 12 million baht to lucky winners of the "Cheer Football with Passion, Celebrate Luck Anytime, Anywhere" campaign during the 2026 global football tournament.
Bangkok, 6 Aug 2026 GMT+7 – Thailand Post Company Limited, in collaboration with Thairath Group, held a prize drawing ceremony and announced winners of the "Cheer Football with Passion, Celebrate Luck Anytime, Anywhere" campaign. The event sought lucky participants who supported their predicted champion team of the 2026 World Football Championship through postcards and online postcards. Ms. Nan Boonthida Somchai, Deputy Minister of Digital Economy and Society, chaired the ceremony, joined by Dr. Danant Supatraphan, CEO and Managing Director of Thailand Post Company Limited; Mr. Watchara Watcharaphol, Co-CEO of Triple V Broadcast Company Limited; and Ms. Thanawalai Watcharaphol,
Operations executives from Trend VG3 Company Limited, along with partner agencies and athletes including “Zico” Kiatisuk Senamuang, legendary footballer and former Thailand national team head coach; Chanathip Songkrasin and Krisda Kaman, Thai national footballers from BG Pathum United Club; as well as artists and actors, joined as witnesses to the prize draw conducted transparently, fairly, and verifiably.
Dr. Danant Supatraphan, CEO and Managing Director of Thailand Post Company Limited, said, "The 'Cheer Football with Passion, Celebrate Luck Anytime, Anywhere' campaign has been held continuously 15 times since 1996 through cooperation between Thailand Post and Thairath Group. It has become an eagerly awaited event for Thai football fans during every World Cup and European Championship. This year saw excellent participation, with a total of 71,027,027 postcards and online postcards purchased, and over 67,295,719 entries submitted to support champion teams. Specifically, 32,468,777 entries predicted Spain as the champion, divided into 29,147,802 postcards and 3,320,975 online postcards via the Prompt Post app and Paotang. Entries supporting other teams totaled 34,826,942, with 30,426,138 postcards and 4,400,804 online postcards. This reflects strong nationwide support from football fans and the success of this year’s campaign, highlighting Thai people's attachment to the event and confidence in its transparent execution, allowing everyone to enjoy and win prizes while cheering for their favorite teams."
The final prize draw offered rewards worth over 12 million baht, including one grand gold prize valued at 7 million baht; one Toyota Hilux Travo D-cab 2.8 Premium M/T; one Toyota Yaris Ativ 1.2 Premium; five Honda PCX 160 motorcycles; 50 Samsung Galaxy A17 smartphones; 100 Lotus gift vouchers; and 20 special prizes of 6ty Degrees mineral water with one-year free supply, totaling 178 prizes.
The grand gold prize winner of 7 million baht gold was Ms. Fah Worakan Dogelis, a 24-year-old freelance Chinese interpreter from Bangkok. She said, "At first, I didn’t believe I had won the grand prize. I thought the call from Thairath was a scam, so I didn’t answer. But when I heard the background noise of the prize draw event, I realized it was genuine. I had sent a total of 10 postcards through Thailand Post at the Bang Khen post office. I bought them because I was working nearby and the postal workers encouraged me to participate, so I sent in my entries."
"Regarding the 7 million baht worth of gold I won, I plan to use it to pay off my mother's debts of about 6 million baht, and save the remainder."
