On 10 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the profile and achievements of “Bumbim” Chatchu-on Mokksri, the newly appointed 26-year-old captain of Thailand’s women’s volleyball team and key outside hitter for Victorina Himeji in Japan’s SV.LEAGUE, were unveiled.

Chatchu-on was born in Buriram Province and began playing volleyball at age 10. At 14, she enrolled at Municipal School 3 Wat Chainawat and was selected to represent her school in various volleyball competitions, developing her skills until reaching the Thailand national team.

“Bumbim” first joined the Thailand national team in 2015 at age 16, competing in the 2015 Asian Women's U23 Volleyball Championship in the Philippines, helping the team win the gold medal.

Since then, she has been a vital player for Thailand in competitions including the Asian Championship, World Championship, Asian Games, SEA Games, and Volleyball Nations League (VNL). Most recently, at the 2025 SEA Games, “Bumbim” was chosen as captain of the Thai women's team at just 26 years old.
