Thailand Golf Association Selects 10 Rising Golfers for 2026 National Team

The Thailand Golf Association selected 10 rising golfers to join the 2026 national team in the final round at Singha Park Khon Kaen Golf Club.

On 24 Dec 2025 GMT+7, the Thailand Golf Sports Association held the final round of its Rising Golfers Development Project aimed at preparing players for the 2026 Thai national golf team at Singha Park Khon Kaen Golf Club.

The event featured 79 athletes—37 men and 42 women—competing in stroke play over four days, 18 holes each day. The top 12 from each category advanced to the final day, which involved skill tests including driving distance, shot accuracy, 100-yard and 150-yard shots, approach shots on par-3 greens, long and short bunker shots, chipping and pitching, and long and short putting. Scores from both formats were combined to determine results.

After five days of competition, the golfers advancing were: Boys 13-16 years—Phumiphat Changpraditjaroen, Jetsada Chuangprayoon, Thakrit Supakornchuawong; Boys 17-22 years—Rattanabodin Tatsaneethipakorn, Phasit Ratakua, Panot Sukonun; Girls 13-16 years—Thanatchaporn Insang, Wirada Thawilsang; Girls 17-22 years—Paninee Khanmanee, Wichayada Rammuang.

The Thailand Golf Sports Association will support training and competition for these selected athletes, considering entries in both amateur and professional tournaments domestically and internationally, and will submit athlete performance records for potential affiliation with Singha Corporation.

In January next year, the association plans to hold the “SINGHA Thailand Mixed Team Championship 2026,” a new event to select two additional male-female pairs (not overlapping with the existing 23 national team members) who will earn the right to join the Thai national golf team.
